Welcome to AFTexposed.com, a website exposing the agenda, finances, and tactics of the American Federation of Teachers. As a result of a threatened lawsuit by the AFT, let us be patently clear: the American Federation of Teachers does not like this site.
This site is a work in progress and will keep its finger on the pulse of the AFT in an attempt to provide more information to you, the reader.
The AFT bullies elected and appointed school leaders, contributes dues dollars to fringe groups, and does its best to stifle efforts to reform the educational system because it puts the interests of its members ahead of students.
After all, it was Albert Shanker, former president of the AFT, who said, “When schoolchildren start paying dues, that’s when I’ll start representing the interests of schoolchildren.”
